What you will be working on
You will join a team building a B2B digital commerce platform used by research labs, hospitals, and biotech companies worldwide.
The platform handles product discovery, ordering, account management, and post-sale digital services. The backend is a distributed microservices system on Azure with event-driven integrations; the frontend is a single-page Angular application. Your work spans both backend APIs and frontend features, with full ownership from design through deployment.
What you will do
- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain Angular frontend features (Angular 18, TypeScript).
- Create and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Set up and maintain event-driven integrations using Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Service Bus.
- Deploy and operate containerized workloads on Azure (AKS / Docker Swarm).
- Write automated tests across backend and frontend (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Playwright).
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases: MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and other engineers in a Scrum team.
What we are looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 25), Spring Boot, Angular 18, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Practical Azure Cloud experience, including CI/CD (Jenkins or Azure DevOps), Docker, and Git.
- Solid automated testing skills across both backend and frontend.
- Comfortable taking technical ownership in a complex, cloud-native codebase.
- A good communicator who works well in cross-functional agile teams.
- Open to a hybrid setup and a mid-shift schedule.
